数学系是我校最重要的科系之一，承担着全校数学和高等数学科目的教学工作（数学为必修科目；高等数学为选修科目，每年有60%左右的学生选修），在历次公共考试中始终保持着优异的成绩。数学系教师团队同时承担着国际数学竞赛赛事的辅导工作。每年有80%学生参与到各项国际数学竞赛中，他们享受比赛、享受挑战，并不断取得骄人的成绩。

The Mathematics Department is one of the most important departments at our school, undertaking the teaching of Mathematics and Further Mathematics. Mathematics is a compulsory subject for all, while Further Mathematics is an elective subject for approximately 60% of students each year. The department consistently maintains outstanding performance in public examinations.
